Pixels are the transmission of energy between two people. Light being a form of energy. They are our present day system for telepathy. Telepathy, from the Greek tele meaning "remote" and patheia meaning "to be affected by", describes the purported transfer of information on thoughts or feelings between individuals by means other than the five classical senses. [*] Telepathy actually means getting feelings through a distance. To elaborate, Telepathy is the communication between two minds, separated over a distance, without the use of the five known senses.' Since we haven't been able to directly convert feelings into the global digital world we use pixels as the medium. I believe that we are creating the future system for mass communications between all people.

My interest in this communication is to see that people have a positive experience. Working in the digital world can be complex and anything we as 'designers of the system' can do to make that easier for individuals the better. In the following pages are examples of different types of digital works that explore the individual communicating with the digital world through interaction, 3d and 2d mediums. The better we organize and arrange the pixels the easier it is for people to get the message and feel good about what they are doing.
